Rewind Therapy for PTSD

PTSD can be an extremely life limiting condition it is not only limited to Military and Emergency Personnel, anyone can experience the effects of PTSD as a result of everyday life challenges and experiences. This life limiting condition can affect anyone at any time, many people live with symptoms of PTSD which can include flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, hyperarousal, anger, anxiety, depression, insomnia, night terrors and many other symptoms leaving poeple often feeling like nothing can be done.

Rewind Trauma Therapy is internationally-recognised as an effective way to treat PTSD and has been shown to be effective for people who have experienced multiple traumas.
It is often referred to as “closure without disclosure” because it does not require you to disclose anything about your trauma in order to regain control of your life. As you are not required to relive the events that led to the trauma, it is suitable for people who are anxious about becoming re-traumatised by talking about what happened.

Rewind Trauma Therapy requires two or three sessions to deal with a single event trauma, for multiple traumas, each one is dealt with separately. You do not need to talk about the experience for the traumatic event to be effectively ‘filed away’ in your mind so it no longer causes day-to-day difficulties. Rewind Trauma Therapy does not remove the traumatic memories however, it will stop the involuntary recall, flashbacks, nightmares and overthinking that can be triggered in many ways for people with PTSD. It is fast and effective and will minimise the risks of becoming re-traumatised.

Working with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other severe trauma requires specialist training. I have been trained by Dr David Muss completed the International Association for Rewind Trauma Therapy certificate and am qualified to deliver this extremely effective technique.
